Wonderful home made

Without a doubt the most wonderful woman in my life was and very much still is - my grandmother - 'Dot'.  She passed away a couple of years ago and left behind what most would deem as junk, but to me, a true treasure trove of tried and tested recipes.  

Home made 50-50 cordial, pickled onions, caramel chocolate slice all hand written and occasionally snipped (with love) then contained in a shabby blue folder.  Some of the recipes were extracted from newspapers dating back to 1958, some from my great grandmother, tennis girls and beyond.


Over the coming weeks I'll be cooking up and sharing with you what is bound to become part of your very own family collection.  These things must be shared.
